The stages of the competition

This year’s theme is “Modern Classics” – giving beloved classic pastries and flavors a modern interpretation.
During the competition days, contestants will create
– four decorated cakes
– two types of pastries (including one take-away)
– two petit four varieties (including one frozen lollipop with Arla’s film milk as an ingredient)
– a show table presented as a ‘shop window’ and a three-minute presentation to the judges and audience
Points will be awarded for taste, technique, innovation, method and presentation, with a total of 500 possible points. Judges will assess, among other things, how well the theme is integrated in both taste and visual expression.
